Bazaruto and Benguerra Islands, Mozambique

We recently enjoyed a spectacular week exploring pristine, white beaches within the Bazaruto Archipelago and marine national park, enjoying the superb snorkelling, swimming and deep sea fishing in the turquoise sea that surrounds the islands.  It was fascinating watching the local villagers fishing from dhows, setting traditional fish traps and collecting mussels at low tide, all in tandem with the dictates of the extreme tides. A true getaway experience in an idyllic island environment!
